Our Fees

We are registered with Medicare. To make an appointment with us you don’t need a referral from a General Practitioner or Doctor. However, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) referral is required if you wish to claim a rebate for your counselling sessions. To know whether you are eligible, you will need to make a longer appointment with your general practitioner (doctor). They will make an assessment and may refer you to us under a MHCP. Medicare rebates are available for up to 20 psychological therapy sessions per calendar year (Jan 1 – Dec 31). Certain eligibility criteria must be met in order to be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate. Click on the Better Access Fact Sheet for more information, Please note that we are not a bulk-billing service, so an out of pocket fee will apply for every session as highlighted below.
